Malakhan Hotel

I visited Baku in April 2025 & stayed at this hotel. My first room had a city view, old furniture , a bit cold & a leaking bidet I had to shut off at the valve, but It was fine for me. I stayed 6 days & for the last two, I paid in cash. The staff were very nice & upgraded me to a sea-view room as a compliment, it was much better, with a beautiful stunning sea view & balcony. It was too cold to use the beach or pool, & the sauna wasn’t working. The beach has seashells in the sand, so wearing shoes is a good idea. The rooms were clean & quiet. The main downside is the hotel location, it’s far from the city & there are no shops nearby, though there’s a bus stop next door. Breakfast was ok, but some glasses were old or chipped, but it was ok for me. When I arrived early around 11:30 am, my room wasn’t ready, so I had to wait. Overall, I enjoyed my stay & felt comfortable at this hotel. Next time, I’d probably pick a hotel in the city to save time, but if I want beach access, I’d consider coming back here especially since there is no beach inside the city.

Our 2-day stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. The sea-view room was a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. However, the ongoing renovations around the swimming pool area detracted from the overall aesthetic experience. "Given the hotel's location, which is a bit far from the city, I would recommend visiting only after exploring all the local sights within the city. This way, you can unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings without worrying about commuting. "Despite the renovation chaos, the hotel's tranquil atmosphere and stunning sea views made for a relaxing getaway. With some patience and planning, this hotel can be a great choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat.

The location hotel is very in perfect spot. The hotel reminds me 90s hotels. So old, not clean, most of room tools are already done their life. Staff are trying their best, however everyting is old. However, it is near to the sea and you can enjoy from the view and swimming. The management have to invest and renew for future attractions of customers.
