Malkata House Boutique Hotel And Restaurant

We had an amazing stay at Malkata House (July 2025). The hospitality and service were top notch. The chef, who prepares each meal from scratch with no real menu, is amazingly skilled at his craft (we once asked if there was falafel and he made it fresh for us the following day...and they were SO good!). Ahmed, who works at the front desk, truly made our stay really special. He assisted with everything I requested (booking transportation, tours, restaurants, drinks, etc.) and we really are so thankful. Everyone that works here has such a warm and welcoming attitude and we only wished we could have stayed longer.

I had such a wonderful stay at Malkata House. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming—especially Ahmed, who coordinated all my transport and offered great recommendations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the pool was a beautiful place to unwind. The hotel is perfectly located on the tranquil West Bank of Luxor—peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short trip to all the main sights. Such a pleasure to stay here. Highly recommended!

Beautiful boutique hotel with a beautiful view. The chef is INCREDIBLE! He cooks something different each day and whatever he makes is fabulous. The hotel is really lucky to have him. The staff were also very helpful and friendly, always happy to arrange a car for us at late notice to go and visit the temples and sites. What an amazing experience. The view from the rooftop at 6am with all the hot air balloons flying by and landing right in front of the hotel is amazing!
