Malmaison Cheltenham

Those who read my reviews know I'm a huge business and leasure traveller. This was a great choice. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, the rooms and most importantly the food. I was in a club room which I think is worth the upgrade, lots of space, quality furnishings and the bathroom is second to none. The shower is super powerful. There was parking and a very friendly receptionist who actually helped. This is more like a boutique hotel rather than a chain hotel I have stayed in other Malmaison hotels and this one is by far the best one I’ve stayed in. The location is very near town, no more than about five minutes and you’re in the town centre and they are a bunch of restaurants not far. But I would suggest that people give the hotels own restaurant a go. Breakfast here was possibly one of the best breakfast I have had in a very long time. It was cooked to order and it was very very good quality ingredients and the chef actually cares so I really enjoyed breakfast. I'll come back for sure.

Stayed in room 328 which is a standard double. The room was very compact with hardly any room at the base of the bed to walk around. Large bathroom with a very deep bath which was rather awkward to get in and out. Loved the hotel atmosphere and food was fantastic. Great underground parking for £10 per night. They were having work done, so scaffolding was up and decorators inside.

Great location, we parked in their underground parking. Where the car stayed for the 2 day stay. The hotel room was okay, though a bit tired.Very clean, wonderful bed linen. All the communal rooms are lovely. Nice to chill with a drink after a day out. The Breakfast was really good & good ingreadents. The Hotel is only a 2 minute walk from great Indian Restaurants, wine bars & so much more. The staff were all nice.
