Malucri Resort

Easy to park inside the resort premises, room was cleaned on a daily basis. They also have a nice pizzeria, the pizza is not the cheapest (slightly more expensive) when compared to other restaurants in San Giovanni Rotondo, but it was one of the best pizzas I've ever tried in my life, thus it was worth it!

We stayed 2 nights because of the location to San Marco in Lamis. The Rooms were ok but there was no coffee or Tea facilities in the room. We could only order Pizza both nights because there was no chef. The surrounding land was lovely and the cows bells ringing were a nice distraction.

I haven’t been to much hotels so you can’t call me an expert, but from what I have experienced it wasn’t a 4 star hotel in my eyes. The rooms were fine, very pretty and very clean, although the walls in my bathroom should’ve been cleaned. The airconditioning was poorly in my opinion and we tried to ask for them to lower it but they never really did. The minifridge didn’t work cause the drinks weren’t that cool, but I suppose it was hot in the room. But the room didn’t necessarily bother me THAT much, it was the poor wifi and sound isolation, I can hear everything that happends in the hallways from my door, the walls are perfectly isolated but the door is where the sounds go right through. I also got startled when I heard maintenance upstairs, such sounds you hear from your upstairs neighbor you know? I don’t have a problem with the maintenance cause it was during the day, but atleast let me know. But personally one of the worst things in my opinion sadly enough, was the spa pool. I get that it’s a public pool amongst other people from the hotel, but it wasn’t cleaned, not even a bit. Bandages, filth etc. There were even big plucks of hair on the side of the pool. And I think it was regular water in the pool so it didn’t have the best smell. So it would be nice if they cleaned the pool. The good thing about the hotel that it’s a beautiful looking hotel with a stunning location. And the restaurant service was lovely. I hope Malucri improves for the better cause it’s a lovely looking hotel. I’d definitely go again if they atleast try to improve the points I just stated.
