Quaint family owned & run hotel with bungalow style rooms of different sizes to accommodate couples & families. Beautiful pool & grounds. There is a small family run restaurant that offers a limited, but delicious menu. Gorgeous views of Lake Chapala & the mountains. This has been our weekend getaway spot for many years. Ideal place to relax.

I love this place, my family has been coming here for years, and we always have a great experience. This visit we felt and saw the downfall of the hotel. It is in major need of some TLC! Seems like ever since the original owner passed away, the new owners don't really care about the place, which is disappointing. The pool needs a complete renovation and major cleaning. Also adding some lighting around the pool would add a modern touch. We also left behind an electronic device and when we called, they gave me the run around on finding it. We did get it back, but it took almost 2 days of back and forth calls and telling them we can track it. As much as I love this place, I will most likely never stay here again, the pricing was not worth the stay.

So it’s not a bad place but bang for the buck it’s run down. Like an old Vegas hotel. Needs a big revamp around the pool. Like the whole pool. If you’re good with kinda rustic then proceed. But cost comparison to other more updated places nearby with more robust service before committing.
