My 2 friends and I had a great stay at Mamlouk (6 nights)! Friendly staff, the housekeeping staff took time even to tighten up our things in the room without any requests (folding our clothes left on the bed, organizing shoes, hats etc). The terrace for sure is the best thing about this place! There’s a restaurant where we had breakfast and also serve lunch /dinner right in front of the pyramids, beautiful view. Definitely a good spot for the price we paid.

Our stay at the Mamlouk Hotel was absolutely wonderful! Location wise, it is very near the great pyramids plateau near the sphinx entry. It has a breathtaking view of the pyramids on the hotel rooftop restaurant! The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and I would like to commend Mr.David, the receptionist and Mr.Reda the reception manager for their outstanding service to us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to stay here again!

★★★☆☆ Jul 2025

Stayed here as a family of 5 mid July 2025. Rooms were ok, but felt cramped. Little bit dated and not everything was in working order. Toilet was leaking, AC was not working properly, some electrical sockets/plugs were not working, and towel holder in bathroom was broken. We were only there 2 nights so managed through but if we were staying in Cairo longer we probably would have chosen / needed somewhere bigger and better quality. Service was generally ok. I have to mention Reda, the reception manager, who was a great host. Any issues we had he was quick to try and resolve it. He made every effort to make our stay comfortable. After the AC issue with our first room he upgraded us to a higher suite. Location of hotel is good as it’s right opposite the pyramids and the view from the room and hotel rooftop restaurant was stunning. However the surroundings aren't inviting, and if you step outside the hotel for a walk or to go to restaurants, you will be harassed by vendors and other shady characters who hang around the streets. This was a real negative for us especially when you’re with small children. All in all a decent hotel with great views but more suited for short visits.
