Amazing Stay at Mandarin Eastville Pattaya! I recently stayed at Mandarin Eastville Pattaya and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was warm, professional, and extremely attentive. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a modern elegant style. The bed was very comfortable, and I especially loved the bathtub The facilities were excellent – the swimming pool was clean and beautiful, the fitness center was well-equipped, and the hotel grounds were peaceful and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Thai and international options. The hotel’s location is convenient. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

This is the kind of hotel that ruins other hotels for you. Once you experience a place this clean, cozy, and full of useful amenities, it’s hard to settle for anything less. You don’t have to worry about a thing during your stay—it just works. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the breakfast. While it’s diverse and decent, it didn’t really hit the spot for me as a non-westerner. I’m not into eating full-on main courses in the morning, so having more light options beyond eggs and croissants would’ve been nice. The location isn’t perfect, but not terrible either. Overall, there’s nothing stopping me from coming back here on my next trip to Pattaya.

While it’s not a bad hotel by any means, it feels more aligned with a 3-star corporate business stay rather than a high-end resort. Ideal for overnight business travellers, but not for those seeking leisure, pampering, or memorable service. Pros: • Clean, spacious rooms that are well maintained. • Friendly and accommodating staff who try their best. • Free on-site parking, which is convenient. • Quiet location away from the chaos of Pattaya nightlife — though this also means you’ll need a car or taxi to get anywhere. Cons: • The breakfast is very basic and uninspired, more suited to a business conference than a 5-star experience. (See pictured, where mixing frozen fish rings with veg. Extremely unappealing and budget) • Coffee offerings are extremely limited — a far cry from what’s expected at this price point. • Pillows and towels feel worn and in need of an upgrade. • Water pressure and temperature are inconsistent — it required a technician visit to fix during our stay. • The pool area lacks any real service — no staff for drinks, towels, or even a simple greeting, which is disappointing for a hotel positioned at this level. In short, the hotel is clean and serviceable, but lacks warmth, detail, and the elevated touches that define true 5-star hospitality. It’s important to note that despite the name, this hotel has no affiliation with the Mandarin Oriental group, so set expectations accordingly. If you’re a business traveller needing a short, quiet stay — this could work. But if you’re here for a vacation, you may want to look elsewhere.
