Mandarin Nest Boracay

We had such a lovely 5-day stay at Mandarin Nest Boracay! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home with their kind and attentive service. They even helped my husband arrange a surprise for my birthday, which meant a lot to us. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts each morning. The afternoon ice cream treats were such a fun and thoughtful bonus.They also gave us a goodnight treat every night, which was such a thoughtful touch. Every detail made the experience more relaxing and special. We celebrated a birthday dinner at the restaurant, and Dina, our server, gave us outstanding service—she truly made the evening extra special! Big thanks to Vener for helping us book our land tour—really appreciated! One of our best trips ever — we’ll definitely be back!

Location was awesome just off the beach, only issue is you had to take your bags all the way through town as cars could not reach the location. If you have a lot of baggage because you are on a long trip this could be an issue. If each person has a single bag though this isn’t an issue. Rooms are small and only meant for those who packed lightly. They don’t have windows to the outside in the room. Also, every surface in the room is permeated with a film of sand and humidity. You cannot avoid this. The pool is tiny, but then again the beach is right there so who cares. The staff is super nice and hospitable. Their continental breakfast and extra daily amenities are on par or better than hotels in the states. There is also a ton of things to do in the area. So as long as you aren’t a heave packer who requires multiple suitcases this place is worth a try.

We had a generally pleasant stay at the hotel. From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the warm welcome, including the complimentary drinks and the help bringing our luggage to the room. Unfortunately, our experience during breakfast on the last day was disappointing. We politely asked for warm water and a bowl for soup, and the staff acknowledged our request—but never followed through. We waited patiently but saw the team laughing and chatting among themselves instead. Sadly, the items were never brought, even by the end of our meal. It felt like a lack of attention and professionalism that didn’t match the otherwise high standards of service. That said, the team really redeemed themselves during checkout. They went above and beyond by helping protect our luggage from the rain and assisting us with the transfer. Special thanks to the concierge team and the security guard at the beachfront—your assistance truly stood out and left us with a positive final impression.
