We had a wonderful experience staying at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The stunning views, exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, delicious meals, and spacious, beautifully appointed rooms made our stay truly memorable. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the service was warm and impeccable throughout. We especially appreciated the serene atmosphere and the seamless blend of luxury and comfort. If there is a better hotel in Thailand, I don't know what it is. Superb levels of service, a beautiful property, full of rich history particularly literary (I liked waking early and working in the James Michener suite, one of my favorite authors). My tips are consider visiting the low season (July and August) when rates are the lowest. All rooms are very good and spacious. The afternoon tea is highly recommended. Use their transfer to and from the airport, it has many perks. They actually have people at the airport to help you with your luggage and check in to your flight which was a very nice surprise. I'll certainly be back.

The hotel itself is stunning, with lush gardens, tranquil riverfront views, and interiors full of timeless character.
