Stayed in the oceanfront junior suite at Sirēya Desaru coast for 3 nights with my girlfriend. The suite was beautifully designed and luxurious, with a huge bathroom with bath tub and a private plunge pool, and has access to a large stretch of (resort private) beach right in front of the suite. The beach is largely untouched by human crowd, given the resort is intentionally away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are incredible and the service is top notch. Everyone went beyond to make our stay exceptional - the room service, the buggy service, the spa, the nature guided walk, the meal service, the transport service and the reception service were all amazing. Really appreciate the timely room servicing with pre-prepped bath tub, the surprise eats, taking care of our personalised requests for vegetarian food, and prompt responses via WhatsApp chat. The buggy service is super useful. The staff contacted me a few days below our arrival to welcome and arrange transport etc. When they had to shift up the transport time, they gave us a free upgrade to a bigger car (where we could lie down recline) to compensate. The spa care is excellent, we tried the Malaysian signature and indigenous massage rituals. Highly recommend. We didn't use but they have a 24 hour amazing gym equipped even with a Pilates machine. We went for the morning nature guided walk, and really appreciated the passion by naturalist Rahman on sharing info about the plants and wildlife. He even showed us his shell collection, and kindly gave one to us to add to our collection. Food-wise, Ambara does have a vegetarian menu for lunch / dinner (which they gave us specially). Breakfast there is amazing. Do note that the resort pools close at night, but anyway I believe all the suites have private plunge pools and bath tubs. Overall highly recommend the Sirēya Desaru if you want a luxurious stay with top notch service and private beach/pool.
