We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur both at the beginning and end of our trip, and it was a truly lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional. What really stood out was their attention to detail — they even remembered us when we returned a few weeks later, which made us feel genuinely valued. The concierge team was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for places to visit and assisting with dinner reservations. The spa facilities were outstanding and provided the perfect way to relax and unwind before and after long-haul flights. Overall, we had an amazing stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return on a future visit to Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Mandarin Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the highly competent and friendly reception team. A particularly thoughtful gesture was when they gifted my girlfriend chocolates a day before her birthday – such a wonderful surprise! Our room was ready even before the official check-in time, and we were allowed to use all the facilities right away. The receptionist even offered us a relaxation room – truly outstanding service! The pre-ordered flowers were placed in our room as requested, and to our delight, we even received two instead of one. There was a slight delay with the birthday cake at breakfast due to one staff member at the desk being not so competent, but thankfully, another lady stepped in immediately and resolved the issue. The breakfast and fitness room were absolutely top-notch. As a lovely bonus, we received a voucher for a drink at a bar with a breathtaking view. The pool area is a dream – beautifully designed, and the staff there are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, spacious, and extremely cozy – we didn’t miss a thing. Overall, an exceptional stay with outstanding service. We will definitely be back!

I recently stayed for a couple of days at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Location The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport options like the monorail, MRT, and LRT. This made it convenient to explore Bukit Bintang and other attractions in the city. Amenities The breakfast was impressive, with various options to suit different tastes. The staff were attentive and friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Room I had a room with a view of the Twin Towers, and I could also see the garden, fountain, and mosque from my window. It was a beautiful sight, especially at night. Considerations However, it's worth noting that if you're looking for a room with a balcony or the option to open windows, this hotel may not be for you. All the rooms, including mine, had no balcony, and the windows were sealed shut. Pricing As expected, this is one of the more expensive hotels in the area, with room rates around 900 MYR per night. While it offers luxury and convenience, be prepared for the price tag. Conclusion In summary, the MO, KL is a good choice for its location, amenities, and service, but potential guests should be aware of the lack of balcony and open windows.
