Amazing service and hotel rooms are maintained well. They also have a great breakfast selection. If you want to feel luxury, I would book this hotel. The only thing I would say is that the pool area is in an awkward place. Have to go to the dining hall to enter so everyone would see you in your swimming suit and the outdoor space isn't that great.

We visited Mandarina Colombo for the high tea buffet and overall, it was a great experience! Most of the food was really good, especially the lasagna, which is a must-try, and the iced coffee was excellent too. However, the sushi was a big letdown. It was honestly the worst I’ve had, the rice was dry and tasteless, so I’d skip that next time. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout, which we appreciated. One downside was the waiting experience, we had to wait in the lobby for about 15–20 minutes before being allowed upstairs, and there weren’t enough seats. It got quite crowded with hotel guests and buffet visitors all packed into the same space. It would be great if they could add more seating or improve the waiting arrangement. Other than that, everything else was great, and I’d still recommend it for a good buffet experience!

Rooms are above average. Good staff and service. There are minor things that need attention such as having a matching breakfast menu, carpet in the hallway, wall plugs with a significant amount of electrical shocks burns etc.. They are conveniently located on Gall road.
