Mane Colonial Classic

Great location in a quiet part of town on the main street out to Angkor Wat. The staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us arrange transport to the temples and into town, bike hire, and pickup/dropoff at the bus stop. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We had a complementary room upgrade to the Colonial Honeymoon Suite. The room was very luxurious with tasteful decor, spacious and clean, with a fruit bowl of local fresh fruit lovingly presented by the hostess Nith, who was very helpful throughout our stay. We also had a complementary massage with the resident masseuse! We'd recommend staying here.

The hotel is build in the colonial style excellently located. The room are very good. We booked a 2 room suite. It had 2 bedrooms one hall and 2 bathrooms excellent for a family of 4 adults. The service is excellent. Waiters are very polite and helpful.

I chose this place because the app I was using showed a very big discount. Even with an 80% discount I feel like I’ve overpaid. It’s an okay hotel, but definitely not a 5 star hotel as it’s advertised. I’d say that it’s at best a 3 star hotel. The room is spacious, but the amenities are subpar: the toothbrushes are soft, there are no proper glasses and cups in the rooms, or even the restaurant. The cleaners took away my dirty face towels, but didn’t replace them with new ones. They left my bath towel hanging on the chair, and the used bathrobe on the hanger. They don’t have laundry service. The restaurant didn’t bring me napkins. These are basic things that one would expect from a hotel that claims to be 5 or even 3 stars.
