Mane History Lovers

I thought as the other reviews are a little old now I’d offer a newer one. Fantastic service and a place with real character. I debated a number of places in Siem Reap, Raffles included, but the reviews for Mane History looked good and as a top tier member of a few chain programmes wanted to stay somewhere that felt different - it does in a good way - some quirks but they’re good! From the incredible welcome to the various items decorating the rooms and common areas the place feels right for the area and not the same genetic feel as most places. If you look on the map you are slightly out of town - that’s good - it’s incredibly peaceful. There are some great restaurants a few minutes walk away and the hotel provide a tuktuk to get you into town (free of charge) also within a few minutes. Thoroughly recommended (and that would have been the case if I hadn’t discovered the rate I booked included a free daily massage!). I should also mention that all of the staff are great and genuinely care that you're having a good stay - Nita was great helping arrange anything from the moment I checked in - even there via WhatsApp if you think of something while you’re trudging around a temple or ten…

Wow Wow Wow... I can’t wait to review this superb hotel I was staying for two nights from Nov 21-23 , 2018!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mane History Lovers is much different from other hotels in SiemReap, the beautiful cultural city of Cambodia. My couple was punctually picked up by the hotel shuttle at the exit door of the airport for free of charge. When we arrived at the hotel front desk to check in, we were welcomed by very polite and professional staffs of the hotel with their unique delicious welcome drinks called “Mane Signature” that we’ve never tasted at other places before. The hotel is combined of four traditional stylish buildings and a nice open swimming pool at behind, all surrounded by beautiful green gardens. Specifically, the hotel serves a spa and massage service and a restaurant named “ Celadon” with various tasty Khmer and Western foods as well as tasty cocktails for 24hrs at the ground floor and close to the swimming pool which is romantic and relaxing atmosphere. This time, we were staying in a honeymoon room on the first floor; our room was beautifully arranged with superior space, a long sofa set, two make-up cabinets, one cloth cabinet, a mini bar with tea and coffee maker, a big indoor bathtub, a nice glass bathroom, and especially a nice decorated honeymoon king bed with our couple’s names on it which made us so surprised and so sweettttttttttttttt we loved it and really appreciated it very much:-))))))) For our stay in the honeymoon room for two nights, it was awesome and wonderful experience we’ve never met at other hotels we used to stay. Foods for breakfast and dinner we had at Celadon were excellent and there was a variety of foods for our selection. The hotel service is professional and perfect. Although the hotel is a peaceful and quiet place to stay, its location is central and easy to access to everywhere in town and the hotel also provides free shuttle or Tuk Tuk service with good driver who can speak English fluently for all hotel guests who need to visit temples or to other specific places upon their suggestions. Finally, all we got from our stay at Mane History Lovers was absolutely value for money and it is exactly the unique superb Five Star Hotel in SiemReap. I’m very glad to recommend this wonderful hotel to other lovers or couples like me and my husband to enjoy such amazing experience from it when coming to SiemReap.

Honey moon package for couples. It includes 60min. body massage but the massage was not good at all. Breakfast is nice but restaurant staff should be trained. Overall rating is fair.
