Good experience, good rooms and beds/pillows, and great location. The elevator was off service during two days. We had a baby+stroller which was difficult to get to the 4th floor. The service was good, but much lower than other resorts we have visited during our four weeks tour in Thailand. Most hotels/resorts take care of your luggage when you check-in, carrying it to your room or at least helping, here this was not the case. And when the elevator was suddenly not working, they didn’t even offer a hand to get our baby carrier up to our room. Again, good service, but not optimal as in other places in Thailand.
The hotel is very good location wise. It is close to everything like Night Market, shops and restaurant bars, massage parlors and the sea is just opposite the road. Also there’s a lot of currency exchange and tourism booths as you walk out the Hotel.I booked a room with pool access and seaview. Room was a bit smaller than I expected. Clean and polite staff. Breakfast with a view on the 2nd floor with a wide variety of choices. Left my jewelries in the room icluding my engagement ring and nothing was missing. My only comment is that you have to pull the doors hard to close it when you leave which creates a slamming sound and other guests do it also you can hear from the room. Also they could repaint this building and make it a little bit lively coz the building looks like old and dark. Another tip, you’ll have to pay a 1,000 Baht deposit ( refundable upon check-out) to the hotel upon check-in which I wasn’t aware of when i booked via booking.com.
I, along with my family, stayed here for three nights. We had booked two sea-view rooms. The location is marvelous, with the beach just across the road. The night market is right next door, offering great food, dining options, and some evening entertainment. The property itself isn't very large, but the common areas and the building appear well-maintained. The pool is big, clean, and even has a water slide, which was a nice touch. However, the room service and especially the staff's attitude could use improvement. The rooms were decent, but the smell coming from the bathroom was unbearable. Initially, we thought it would go away on its own, but it only got worse. By late evening, we contacted room service to either fix the issue or at least spray some air freshener. We were informed that room service was unavailable at the time and that they couldn’t provide air freshener either. Although we were offered an option to change rooms, it wasn’t feasible for us as we were traveling with elderly parents who have limited mobility. I wish the staff had shown more empathy and at least tried to address the issue. Overall, the stay was okay, but the bathroom smell really spoiled the experience.
