We had an amazing stay at Mangia’s Sardinia Resort, honestly, I don’t get the negative reviews at all. Maybe it wasn’t as good when they first opened, but the week we spent there was truly magical. First of all, the location is perfect and the resort is huge. There’s a little train and buggies you can use to get around, which we loved. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. What really made our stay special was the staff, literally everyone was so kind and friendly. I have to mention Giulia, the yoga teacher whose sessions were unforgettable and such a beautiful part of our days there. We only had breakfast included, but it was varied, very delicious, and the breakfast setting at Al Grano Pizzeria was really stylish. The beach was gorgeous, with plenty of comfortable loungers that were free to use. The water is crystal clear! We also loved that you could take out kayaks and paddle boards at no extra cost - definitely worth trying! All in all, our honeymoon at Mangia’s was a dream come true. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Resort, Rough Start but Great Potential! I’ve stayed at another Mangia’s location before and had a wonderful experience, so for our honeymoon we decided to try their Sardinia resort since it had just opened. The property itself is gorgeous and the staff were overall helpful and kind, but check-in was an absolute disaster. We arrived early, fully expecting that our room wouldn’t be ready until 4 PM. Our plan was to relax by the pool, but unfortunately it started raining, so we had to wait in the lobby. Around 4 PM we were told our room was “just waiting for a final check” but this dragged on until 6:30 PM. There were many guests waiting, the lobby was noisy with tired kids, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. Once we finally got to our room, though, it was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a stunning view. I reached out to management to share my concerns about the check-in process, and they responded instantly. They were apologetic, very accommodating. Despite the rocky start, I truly believe this was just part of the growing pains of a brand new property. I’d happily give Mangia’s Sardinia another try in the future and I’m still a fan of exploring their other locations.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Price We stayed at Mangia’s Resort in Sardinia and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had, especially for the outrageous price of €400 per night. • Room cleaning: The room was not cleaned daily. We had to remind staff multiple times just to get the basics done. • Noise: We had a dog next to our room and it was barking loudly during our entire stay – nothing was done to address noise for us or other guests. • Accessibility nightmare: We were traveling with a baby, and there are no elevators to the restaurant. I had to carry the stroller up and down stairs every day, without anyone offering help. • Beach chaos: The beach was packed. People put towels early in the morning to reserve spots, leaving no available sunbeds. If you wanted the first or second row, they charged €40–50 per person – absurd considering what we were already paying for the room. • Overcrowded transport: To reach reception, we had to take a bus every day. Most of the time it was overcrowded, and I had to dismantle the stroller into two parts just to get on. • Claustrophobic room: There was no window in the bedroom, making it feel like a dark, airless box. On top of that, the pillows smelled awful – literally like sewage. • Parking inconvenience: The parking lot is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, which is frustrating when carrying luggage or dealing with kids. • No beach service: On the beach, there’s no one to take orders or bring drinks – you have to go buy them yourself. • No nearby supermarket: If you need anything, be ready for a long trip, because there’s nothing around. Overall, this resort charges luxury prices but delivers far below even basic standards. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else. 😌 Greetings from Macedonia 💪🏻🇲🇰
