Mangrove Tree Resort World Buddha Hotel

The room was spacious and commands good view of the whole resort. Room was made up. Great Job. You can enjoy entertainment, food, shopping and waterpark. There's a great variety of food in the Food Street at one corner of the Resort. The buffet spread for breakfast was yummy too. Highly recommended.

Stayed there for five days for APSA international conference. Rooms are specious and comfortable. Breakfast has wide spread. Big disadvantages is that no-one including at reception, Staff is not able to understand English. Even at many places sign board were in Chinese only. They should think of this before inviting so many international guest.

During my stay, I observed several challenges with communication as none of the staff seemed to speak English. This created a barrier for non-Chinese-speaking guests, and unfortunately, I felt that the staff were not very accommodating or welcoming to those who did not speak Chinese. While using a translation app (Alipay), I unintentionally captured some of their conversations, which were later translated into English. To my dismay, these remarks were not respectful toward guests, even though we could not understand them directly. I tested this a few more times, and similar comments were detected. The overall atmosphere of the property appears to cater primarily to Chinese families, with numerous amenities designed for children.
