Manhattan Hotel

Excellent location, literally infront of the side gate of the main train station, they have security at the hotel door (some surrounding are not quite safe) hotel is very nice , super comfy bed , very clean , staff are very helpful. Breakfast is Excellent. Room has an esspresso machine and bottle of water . But no water cattle. I stayed in single room , very convenient.

Perfect location for the station. Helpful 24 hr reception. We booked a twin room but they have us a double, no others available. That was very inconvenient. The room was clean, bathroom very good, sound insulation seemed good, but we arrived after midnight and left just before 6am!

Stayed here whilst attending the nearby Messe/ exhibition centre. Room was fine for the price, (had a twin room as was supposed to be travelling with someone else who unfortunately couldn’t attend) and the room was clean. Staff were very pleasant, and accommodating. Convenient for train station which is just across the road, and a 20 minute walk to the messe. Decent restaurants not too far away. However. The area immediately around the hotel is pretty bad. Strong smell of marijuana, and open drug use. Beggars, and people being loud / drunken behaviour in the street. Prostitution also evident. Will not go back here alone for sure, and would likely look elsewhere for my next visit. Plenty of armed police around but that didn’t seem to make a difference to people’s behaviour. Unfortunate because the hotel itself is fine.
