Manoir de Surville Hotel & Spa & Restaurant

If you are looking for a slice of paradise, look no further. A stunning location in Normandy with beautiful grounds, spacious and well appointed rooms and food second to none. This is only exceeded by the warmth & love extended by owners Camille and Hugues. This is a passion for them and it is evident in every little detail We also took advantage of the spa services for relaxing massages, sauna & steam. We spent 3 days and wished we had booked for longer in order to enjoy the grounds and take a bike ride around the area with a picnic lunch (bikes are available). On our next visit to France, we will return to spend more time at Manoir Surville. In fact it might be the primary visit for us to return to France. A stay at Manoir Surville will be the highlight of any trip to France. This would also be a great spot for a business or wellness retreat.

We had a wonderful stay. The grounds are stunning and we were very content hanging around the hotel, swimming, picnicking and biking. The owners are staff went to great lengths to make our whole family feel very welcome. We are planning to come back ASAP!

So peaceful and truly top notch hospitality!! Sadly we were only there for one night but had the chance to partake in dinner, breakfast (with the best baguettes we had in France!), a bike ride through the countryside and a spa day. You must have dinner here if you’re staying — firstly there’s nothing nearby but secondly, it’s just very good and simple. Fresh ingredients well cooked. Beautiful and creative but not pretentious. A simple pre fixe where you don’t have to make any decisions at all. What more can you ask for? The common spaces — both in the garden and in the library — really sets this place apart from other nice places where the public space isn’t actually welcoming. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer!
