Manoir du Lac Delage

A beautiful place with excellent service. We loved the spa and we enjoyed marshmallows around the fire at night. A perfect vacation spot.

So i have mixed feelings, the room was not the best, the AC is so loud when it turns on, it startled me awake every time, its like a rowdy tractor, and then its dead silent, all hotels I stay at have a 'fan always on' feature so the noise doesn't scare the daylight out if you when it turns on, so I didn't sleep, at all, and its too hot and humid to not.have AC especially since we were on the 3rd floor. This place is a maze, we were at the high end numbers of third floor.meaning that we were all the way at the end of the hallway which is like 1KM long, which I didn't mind but some people might, its an old building with thin walls, I heard the TV and shower taking and talking next door. When taking shower the shower head started rattling and banging and making these crazy noises and the water just sprouting sporadically, definitely something wrong with the plumbing. The covers were too hot but the bed was comfortable, there is a mini fridge and cable TV, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was not renovated, you can see its feom the 70's. The surrounding area of gotelnis absolutely gorgeous, the view is fantastic, beautiful coy bond at the entry, nice walking paths to the lake, they have mini put and other activities to enjoy. The outdoor sauna and hot tub was amazing, the pool absolutely refreshing, I loved the spa amenities, the sauna was very hot, especially when adding the water to the stones. The restaurant was amazing. I had the salmon tartar and octopus entre my friend had the burger, juicy and delicious, the fries crispy and tender, great dining experience with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. The breakfast is a buffet, no vegetables, limited fruit, bacon, sausage links scrambled eggs and sugary cereal, and beans, so it's just a basic standard breakfast for twenty four ninety nine. Not sure if I would come back or not. The area is beautiful just not being able to sleep is a bit of a deal breaker for me.

We were really looking forward to our stay given the hotel’s scenic location, which truly is stunning—with lakes, mountains, multiple pools, hot tubs, saunas, mini golf, and outdoor activities like canoeing. Unfortunately, the service and experience did not live up to the setting. We were locked out of our room for over an hour due to key card issues, which happened multiple times during our stay. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, the AC extremely loud, and there was a bug on our bed. Staff were polite but consistently unresponsive. Requests (like bathrobes for the spa) were met with promises of “5–10 minutes,” yet we were left waiting for over 1.5 hr, multiple times, with no follow-up. Housekeeping is by request only, which is fine in theory, but in practice our room was not cleaned the first day at all, and only very late in the afternoon on the second—despite repeated reminders and the housekeeping sign being up all day. When cleaning finally happened, we were told they don’t make beds unless you’re checking out, which was baffling. It was also concerning that there was no manager on site during our 3-day stay, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and under-supported. Sadly, while the amenities are great, the poor service, lack of reliability, and general disorganization made this a frustrating and disappointing experience. Multiple people had problems with their rooms, 2 rooms had their toilets clogged after multiple requests, 3 other parties were locked out of their room with one that had a baby needing to sleep, and another room that had a leaking fridge. We wouldn’t return or recommend it unless major changes are made.
