Manordaf Bandb

The twin room I booked was on the first floor at the front of the house with a good view of hills over the river. An acceptable amount of traffic noise that reduce by 10pm, which did not disturb me even with the window open. The room was comfortable and clean with sufficient cupboards for clothes. As with many B&Bs the shower room made the best of the area it was in but a well proportioned person may find it a bit tight. However the shower pressure was very good and the water hot. Breakfast was plentiful so much so that I did not have all that was on offer. A good idea was the baskets in the hall for guests to leave their muddy boots. One of the 4 rooms is on the ground floor. I recommend Manordaf for both short stays for those doing the coastal path, and those exploring the many attractions in the area longer stays of several days. Jacqui and Steve are very welcoming hosts. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

We stayed two nights while walking the Wales Coast Path. Jacqui and Steven were warm and welcoming hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were great, and they were even able to pack a nice lunch for our hike! Clean, comfortable room and ideal location.

Had a lovely stay and straight through door Jacqui and Steve were very friendly and chatty- couldn’t ask for better hosts! The room was open, comfortable and clean and slept the best in ages. Well worth giving them a call to book a stay- amazing first experience in Wales :)
