Mansion Getaway Sleeps 24

We stayed at Linger Lodge from November 24 – December 8, 2024. Upon arrival the staff was friendly, and we were escorted to our site. We were in a concrete back-in river lot site 27, there is a steep hill making parking a 42’ rig a little challenging, but we were able to get into our spot after a little maneuvering. The site has full hook-ups, and a picnic table. The park has great amenities that include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a gym, hot tub, screened swimming pool, club house with a banquet hall, prep kitchen, vending machines and they offer trash pickup. They also had various outdoor amenities that include fishing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding on the scenic Braden River, with kayak rentals available. The park is pet friendly and had an area for dogs, though one side of the fence was missing, so there wasn’t an enclosed area when we were there. There is an on-site restaurant & bar, serving Southern cuisine, with river views and live music. We ate at the restaurant several times during our stay, and it was pretty good. We did take out as well as dine in. A couple things to note: you do hear traffic and planes all throughout the day, and there is the steep hill in the Riverview sites. If you are looking to stay in the Bradenton area, this is a good place to stay.

The best rv park in the area. Owners are the nicest, funnest people I know. They really work hard. We have a laundry and a gorgeous community center here with pool, workout room and kitchen. A river runs by it and the area has that Old Florida charm. We just love it here!

Winter camping in the Sarasota/Bradenton area is expensive and this park is no exception. Our original assigned site involved fence construction workers directly behind, and placed our picnic table a few feet from the next lot’s sewer. The staff member at the office was so accommodating that she gave us a list of open sites and allowed us to take our pick. All the staff we encountered were equally eager to assure our comfort. The park was quiet during our stay and is well lit at night. The facilities are updated with a beautiful pool and clubhouse area. The laundry has 4 washers and 3 dryers, and all happened to be in use on a Monday evening when we chose to do laundry, causing a wait to use a dryer. Poor timing on our part. The nearby restaurant has a screened porch with a lovely view of the river, the food was good and staff were pleasant. Wifi at the park was robust and T-Mobile and Verizon signals were strong. Overall a pleasant experience.
