Mansions on Fifth Hotel

This place was lovely. I'd go back in a flash. If unique, historically significant hotels that are also updated with modern amenities are your jam, look no further. It also makes a great base for exploring the University Square area in Pittsburgh. Quite nice. Oh also, the staff (especially the butler and bartender) were really great.

First time staying here, and will return! The concierge and staff were very helpful. The bar is lovely with the owner being very creative and accommodating. The entire place is gorgeous, inside and out. The location is exceptional! We were able to walk to shopping and dining and downtown was a quick 20 minute drive. I can't say enough good things about Mansions on Fifth!

First time to stay. We booked a night for our wedding anniversary. It’s a pleasant surprise to see in our room a beautiful bouquet of flowers and happy anniversary greeting sign. Thank you! We enyoyed touring the house inside and outdoors. There were numerous paintings around the house. Some were quiet old. Many were on sale. Our room was spacious, with king size bed, exquisite fireplace. It did look old of course, but some of the fixtures did not seem to fit well with the overall style, and few things needed some overdue maintenance… We also preferred to have handheld shower head aside from or instead of a fixed overhead one. The service were first rate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had pleasant chat with the butler and the gardeners. The location was perfect for our overall plan. It’s close to the museums, universities, parks.
