One of the best shelters I have visited, clean and well-kept. Mr. Yiannis, who welcomed us, was helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the place. Thank you for everything!
A special refuge in excellent condition! Before your visit, don't forget to contact the Pan group that manages it because it only opens upon prior arrangement!
We visited the refuge in 2019. Ideal location very close to the villages of Portaria and Maakrynitsa. The manager of the shelter very friendly. Warm and neat place in the heart of the mountain.
