Mantis Kivu Marina Bay Hotel

I was genuinely impressed during the Liberation Long Weekend by how Kivu Mantis delivers a perfect blend of business comfort and leisure escape. With the new additions in Nyungwe National Park, the hotel has truly elevated its experience—especially as staycations continue to grow in the area. From the very beginning, the warm welcome by Jackson set the tone. Damascene’s ever-present smile and strong leadership at the front office made everything seamless. Sauda and Fatuma brought culinary excellence and attentive care to every meal, making the restaurant feel like home. Coach (Maître) Sam went above and beyond with his advanced skills and willingness to help, and the pool is now spotless—clearly maintained to the highest standards. Kudos to the entire Kivu Mantis team for an unforgettable experience!

This place, I would love ❤️ to stay again, again and again. When they say do not judge a book by it's cover, this is the place they are talking about. Nice reception staff, beautiful and classy room. The fact that I could order everything I needed from my room TV set was priceless. Complementary massage and spa treatment is the 💣 💣.

A beautiful hotel on Lake Kivu. We used it as a base to explore Nyungwe forest. Like the rest of Rwanda, staff are friendly and service is with a smile. On our first night there was a delay with our meal; the dining staff went out of their way to rectify the situation, apologising multiple times, offering complimentary dessert etc (all of which was not necessary). On subsequent nights we were given special attention to ensure everything was fine. The rooms are very comfortable with all the usual amenities.
