Mantra Albury Hotel

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that pets are welcome—not just tolerated. The room was clean, stylish, and well-appointed, with thoughtful pet-friendly touches that made all the difference. We especially appreciated the local guide to nearby pet-friendly cafes, restaurants, and parks—it was incredibly helpful and a great reflection of your team’s attention to detail. It was also refreshing to see that there were no hidden or additional charges for bringing our pet, which made us feel even more welcome. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. We highly recommend QT to fellow pet owners looking for a quality stay where their furry companions are just as valued as they are. We’ll certainly be back!

I’ve been staying regularly at Mantra Albury for over 12 months and have always experienced excellent service. From the moment you’re greeted by April, Paula, or Louis at reception, to breakfast with Michelle’s friendly team, you feel like part of the family. Rooms are spotless, stylishly modern, and equipped with big-screen TVs and easy device streaming. District Dining (their restaurant) is currently being renovated (reopening October) but is running smoothly on Level One thanks to the tremendous efforts of the team. The Sky Lounge, gym, and kids’ playroom are also being refreshed, I can’t wait to see them open. Coffee is hot, beer is cold, and the service is outstanding. I always look forward to coming back!

The reception staff were particularly unhelpful and rude. The night concierge was very helpful and kind. I could have given 5 stars for the night concierge however the service I received and others before me at the front desk was so rude! I have travelled extensively and have never been treated so appallingly. Pet Friendly at the Mantra in Albury appears to mean you pay way more and get one of the worst rooms they can find. My family was previously in the same industry and I have seen what humans without pets can do to a room. Also when booking by phone I asked if the room was on the ground floor, which is what I wanted, the room as not on the ground floor there is as no ground floor. I paid nearly $400.00 for 1 night, my pet and I to be treated with contempt and unhelpful service from the young woman at reception. The people before me in the growing queue for reception sadly felt the same. ( they also had a pet.) Greeted by the same disrespect in the morning by the same person. I felt like the place was “pet tolerant” at best, and if you had a pet you would be treated as a sub class guest. I would not stay there again.
