The hotel is under new management and I must say I'm extremely impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful, they have updated the TVs to smart TVs, so we could log in to netflix. Microwave in the room made it convenient. I recommend staying here
We had a wonderful stay at Mantra Bathurst. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, rejuvenated and clean. The food at the restaurant was superb, and the chef was lovely and came and introduced himself to us. I highly recommend the scotch fillet, best cooked steak I have enjoyed in years. Ample Parking was convenient, however there is no lift to the restaurant or rooms on 1st floor. A ramp would have been lovely and would make the hotel more accessible.
We have stayed two years in a row, the Bathurst 12 Hour weekend. The Mantra is close to the racetrack. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable. The bathrooms are a good size, but water goes all over the floor after a shower. The housekeeping could be much better. The food is very good and wait staff, especially Lisa who is very helpful and friendly.
