Mantra Shepparton

Love the Mantra. Amazing staff, great location. Parking is tight though, but construction is still underway. Some rooms need a bit more attention to detail with the cleaning as well.

Parking is an issue. Didn’t like my car on main road. Otherwise fantastic. If you get a car spot in the car park don’t move.

I stayed at The Mantra, Shepparton on Thursday 15/5/25. The room was very small - smaller than most. The bathroom had NO bench space at all (it's just a sink), so couldn't put anything to be ready to use, like make-up, moisturizers, hair straighter, hand-towel, etc. There was only one hook for a shower towel, which was annoying as there was 2 of us staying. The shower leaked at the bottom. Reception closes at 5pm so couldn't get bottled water after that time. The fridge is not cold, and our (self-supplied) OJ was warm to drink the next morning. I asked for a tax invoice to be sent to me on the morning of departure, (Friday), but it wasn't sent. As an ACCOR member, I am entitled to a drink on arrival, however there are no facilities for that (felt they could have offered a can of coke as an option, but they didn't). We were able to park on the premises, but some people missed out and they weren't happy (not a lot of carparks there at the moment). On a positive note, staff were friendly. I won't stay again, and there are a lot of motel/hotel options in Shepparton so will try a different place next time.
