Excellent spot right on the beach. All rooms have a balcony facing ocean. Rooms were amazing, the staff was very friendly and awesome. We loved it here. The onsite restaurant was very good and they have the best coffee. One of the best places we have ever stayed at right by a beach. Thank you!
Nice looking small hotel. Was there for a wedding on the beach and the place seemed to work very well. For events, the parking seems a little too constrained.
I know it's not fair to compare Manzanillo with Puerto Vallarta but I can't in good faith accept the mediocrity that most hotels offer in Manzanillo because the prices for the rooms are similar and there are tons of stuff Manzanillo needs to improve to be able to compete and charge as much as Vallarta's hotels do. Mar Celeste is tiny and being tiny does not equal boutique. Any other hotel boutique in other places in Mexico are extremely superior to Mar Celeste. The pool looks more like a large jacuzzi (that's obviously not a compliment). The restaurant has ONLY 4 plates on its breakfast menu. This is a glorified 4 bedroom house.
