Maranatha Porto Vecchio

„Heaven on earth“ We loved this magic place! We stayed 5 nights with our dog and it was really the highlight on our Corsica trip!!! The location is unique, the equipment is perfect and the people there so, so friendly. Thank you for making our holiday perfect! :-)

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Maranatha with our two kids in October . It is quiet, secluded and an amazing sunset view every night, and each villa has its own bbq and garden so we are in most nights. It’s also super close to some of the best beaches on the island, so we spent most days venturing out and returning to the pools at Maranatha in late afternoon. There are a handful of villas here, and it is very quiet and peaceful. There is no restaurant here, so if your expecting a big buffet breakfast or cocktail bar, you might be disappointed. we were quite happy to just stock our fridge from the nearby grocery. The grounds and accommodations are very eco friendly. We also saw dolphins in front of the hotel one morning which was a big highlight!

What a disappointing experience. We were looking forward to this but now we can’t wait to leave. When we entered the place I couldn’t believe that that’s where we gonna stay. I thought that the lady maybe will pick u the key and take us to our room but no. The garden wasn’t cosy at all. There was spider nets everywhere and the outside furniture hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. It’s was all dusty. When we entered the house it was so sad and dark like a cave. They’ve just badly painted the old furniture and walls. Spider nets were in the house too but that didn’t surprise me after what We saw in the garden. And another thing is that we can’t lock our bedroom window so anyone could just come inside. Very disappointing and we paid 370eur per night for this. 😠 And the boss never showed up to explain the situation. Poorly managed place. And we’ve been staying in many places while visiting Corsica so we have some experience of the quality. Once again. Too overpriced for what you get.
