Maravel Star Art Hotel

The hotel is great! Distance to the beach, availability of the umbrellas and chairs awesome, at the morning or afternoon hours. The beach: rocky like most of Greece. During our stay the waves where strong so there was always a red flag up, so no swimming. The rocky part of the beach during that time was great you could just stay in those parts and get to soak in the water and tan there. Services and cleanless of the rooms amazing. The staff super professional and respectful, always welcoming 😃. The food at the breakfast and dinners had a lot of varieties and delicious. Drinks at the bar are amazing! Greek gin and tonic recommended! In the rooms you can find a good hair dryers. Something important for ladies :). The distance to restaurants outside the hotel is great! For lunch or dinner if you want to eat something else. Additionally few shops with anything you need for the beach: suncream, slippers, water shoes, swimming suits or linen clothing. And the prices are very good. So if you forget anything you will get there. Honestly these shops have a very good prices for those items. If you compare to other euro currency countries. And even Poland or Czechia.

Loved every minute of our holiday! Great rooms, fantastic views and the bar is just amazing! Staff was very friendly and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. We'll definitely be back!

In the retrospective I have to admit that the food wasn’t even that bad. I liked that for a Mediterranean Hotel the buffet/catering team tried to always serve at least some new items (at least for dinner). Breakfast is really less varied (and also not that good). It could easily be done better. On the other Hand we’ve got the great staff which is really friendly and hard working ( carzy shifts from morning to late evening and then again). Location is better than some other hotels in the area but you cannot do much more than going tourist shopping or take a bus to rethymnor. The rooms are good ventilated and the cleaning people are super nice! Only thing is that it’s your fortune which room you’ll get so if you are an introvert you may get a room directly at the pool with a really busy atmosphere, where a lot of people spent their time everyday. That could work better if guests had a chance to virtually choose their rooms. Anyways good hotel, would recommend.
