Marbella Beach Resort at Club Playa Real

I travelled with my parents and my sister and her husband and kid. It was a very good experience taking into account that my father has problems moving and walking long distances. The beach is 50 meters away from the resort, a calm beach with not so many people most days. That give you the feeling that you are quite alone there which is pretty nice. For what you pay, the staff was nice speaking english, french and of course, spanish. We booked an apartment for us which was more than enough. Since the sun raises a little more to the left you cannot really see the sunrise nor the sunset. So having the front pool room cannot be an upgrade. It was quite a good stay in the back since we had a little 2 year old kid which was making quite some noise. There is a gym mentioned in the booking facilities but it is unusable. For me that is more a 4.75/5. But not many people go on vacation and want to work out. Seen many people run in the area. Unexpected. Overall a 4.75 out of 5

Big rooms, looked better then expected. The 'password' to enter the resort got changed over the weekend and the receptionist forgot to mention, so be careful on asking for the new pass if you stay over the weekend, and another thing that could be improved is the cleaning of the rooms and attention to details. In 8 days our rooms were cleaned only once and we didn't have any toilet paper in one bathroom.

Do not stay here if you want a vacation lie in & spend a few extra hours in bed relaxing! This place was definitely not built with sound deadening pads! Every morning between 7-9am you can hear absolutely everything from people talking, footsteps in rooms & corridors, furniture scraping on tiled floors, garden machinery from staff & external refuge collection. Save yourself an alarm clock - come here......
