Marcella Royal Hotel Rooftop Garden

We stayed at the Marcella Royal Hotel in Rome for one night at the end of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. The room was incredibly spacious, and the king-size bed was a true luxury, especially for Europe. What really stood out, though, was the staff—they were warm, personable, and full of great local recommendations. The hotel itself was spotless and beautifully designed, with a great aesthetic throughout. After a long day of travel, relaxing at the rooftop bar was the perfect way to unwind while taking in the Roman skyline. We were about a 25minute walk to Trev and the Spanish Steps. After being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Rome, it was nice to stay somewhere that wasn't too far outside of the city center. We were genuinely impressed with every aspect of our stay and look forward to coming back in the future. Highly recommended!

Elegant hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The rooms are amazingly dark at night as they have black out shutters. Lower level rooms were a little bit noisy in the morning with unloading etc outside. Great showers too. Staff were excellent. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. Amazing at sunset. Good buffet breakfast. Has a cute pancake making machine which the kids loved. Lots of restaurants nearby. 20 minute walk to a lot of attractions and Roma Termini. Slightly uphill if returning from Trevi etc. Quite expensive but it's a capital city 🤷

We only stayed for one night but wish it could have been longer! The staff is wonderful, kind and attentive. The rooms are lovely and comfortable but the rooftop is absolutely amazing!!! Definitely worth the higher priced cocktails, recommend getting up there for sunset! 10/10 would recommend this hotel, the breakfast is also vast and delicious!
