The room is orderly and tidy. The toiletries have been filled. When I asked for additional complimentary bottled water, they responded right away. They ensured my stay was comfortable. We nevertheless enjoyed a really satisfying breakfast even though there weren't many food options at the buffet. This is reasonably priced!
We've stayed at Marco Polo several times already, but during our most recent visit, the service felt extra warm and accommodating. Everyone from the front desk to the pool staff made sure we were well taken care of. Special mention to Josh and Jade at the pool who were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made a difference. We really enjoyed our time and are already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommended!
⚠️ WARNING – Marco Polo Ortigas! I’ve stayed here many times as a Discovery member and always had great experiences — until my last visit. Me and my wife stayed for 1 week, under the Continental Club on the top floor. What happened on my last visit - I got alcohol poisoning from the rooftop club (after 1 glass only!), spent 72 hours vomiting (over 30 times), ended up in the ER, and my last week of holiday was destroyed. The most shocking part? Even after I told the hotel exactly what happened, they never removed the alcohol. That means another guest could still drink from the same bottles and suffer the same nightmare. This is my biggest concern — they did nothing to protect future guests. Housekeeping was also unacceptable. I asked for my room to be cleaned, but they claimed they “couldn’t enter” even though no one was inside. When we came back from the hospital expecting a clean room, it still wasn’t done. We had to call again, wait outside, and only then did they clean it. Completely uncomfortable and not what you expect from a five-star hotel. Then, the day after I checked out, they attempted to charge my card twice for ₱3,000–₱4,000 PHP of food — without asking me, without informing me, and without my consent. Luckily, my card declined the charges, but the fact they tried is unacceptable for a hotel that calls itself 5-star. I will not return, and I’m posting this so no one else goes through what I did, I hope!
