This is a very interesting address for those who are in search for an a typical hotel : very large rooms, plenty of space, very good restaurant, helpful staff. View outside is marvellous and you can visit historical towns such as Belluno, Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. Interesting to go to Venice and to stay in the quiet.
Nightmarish Experience - Avoid at All Costs! Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Marco Polo, and it was undoubtedly the worst hotel experience of my life. I cannot stress enough how much I regretted booking a room here. Once we made it to our room, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority for this hotel. The bathroom was a horror show; it was so grimy that I decided to avoid using it as much as possible during my stay. The customer service was equally abysmal. Whenever we tried to voice our concerns to the staff, they showed zero interest in resolving our issues. It was as if they didn't care about their guests' satisfaction at all. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy, and I implore anyone reading this to steer clear of the Marco Polo. There are countless better options available in the area that will ensure a more pleasant and enjoyable stay. Trust me; this place is an absolute nightmare! And they don’t even know who is staying in their hotel. Amazing…
We booked a room for 1 night and paid in advance on booking.com. We arrived at the hotel at 20:00. The woman from the hotel immediately said that the reservation was for 2 and we were 3 (we and 3 y.o child). She said to pay 50% of the cost for a 3-year-old child. Even though we said we didn't need an extra bed for the baby and that the baby was sleeping with us, she said pay or leave. We refused and asked for a cancellation and a refund. The woman said that there would be no refund and "The door is there, you can spend the night in another hotel." When we said that we would write a bad review, she agreed to make a refund. She said that a notification about the refund would come to the mail and that the money would come to the same card with which we paid. We asked for confirmation, but she said that it would come to the e-mail. We left for another hotel and in the morning I received a letter stating that we did not arrive at the hotel at all and no refund. We called booking, explained the situation and booking called the hotel but no one answered. Booking asked us to come back to the hotel again. We arrived again at the hotel, but we were told "Go away, we will not communicate with you, but only with booking." When I said that the booking called you but you did not answer, they told me that no one called them. We were in 20+ hotels with a kid and nowhere did we require additional payments for the child and there has never been such a disgusting attitude towards the client.
