Marenas Beach Resort

I work with a company that hosts a retreat here every year for about 50 people and every year the Marenas blows us away. Franklin and his incredible staff are attentive, hospitality focused, detail oriented and extremely kind. They go above and beyond for everyone from the staff to the participants and they put in countless hours of preparation weeks to even months in advance. The rooms are gorgeous and we love the kitchen and laundry options, as well as the gorgeous balconies. The beach and pool are great and you really get to relax and enjoy. Cannot recommend Marenas enough!

The room had hair on the sink when I arrived. The front desk was rude. The hallway smelled like a wet dog, nasty carpet. The was a fan in the hallway drying the carpet. People are allowed to smoke in the front of the building. On a positive note: food was delicious and the wait staff was friendly. This is not my first time staying here. I like the views and the quietness.

Very friendly staff, pet-friendly place, and although the rooms are a bit old and in need of renovation, the stay was still wonderful. I highly recommend trying their coffee — it’s incredible. They also make delicious cocktails by the pool
