This place is undoubtedly underrated as it can not be rated less than 10/10. We booked mountain view, it was charming even better than the pictures, absolutely epic enchanting panoramic mountain view. The quality, cleanliness, service and the food super perfect. Everything just as planned: the river voice, the panoramic view, the coffee machine and other kind stuff.. The breakfast was simple and high quality with several healthy options including Avocado, nuts and fresh coked eggs that is made in the request not heated outside! When we compare the value with the money we found super perfect option! We will come back again definitely!

Just visited for a meal. Extremely tasty. Chose the daily special menu (tuna tartare, Tom Kha soup, beef main course and matcha creme brulé with coconut I've cream) and a Zweigelt bio wine. Amazing flavours in a lovely setting.

This was our first time staying at the Margarethenstein Boutique Hotel in Austria, but it definitely won't be our last visit! The boutique hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and our room had stunning mountain views while being perfectly situated amid all the top attractions in the area. From the moment we arrived, every single staff member welcomed us with a warm, friendly demeanor that really embodied outstanding hospitality. The service was excellent throughout our stay. An added perk was the complimentary tickets to the top Alpine peak in Kaprun. Particular highlights were the delightful breakfasts, where the owner's personal touches elevated the morning meals into something truly special and memorable among boutique hotel breakfasts. The breakfast alone is worth a visit! If you're considering a boutique stay in Austria, I couldn't recommend Margarethenstein more highly. This gem will surely become one of your go-to accommodations when visiting the Kaprun region or anywhere in the Austrian Alps. An all-around fantastic boutique experience that we're already looking forward to enjoying again.
