A Relaxing Paradise in the Smokies We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Margaritaville Island Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The island themed decor and laid back atmosphere created a truly relaxing getaway. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and came with a cozy fireplace and a private balcony overlooking The Island. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to detail with amenities like the margarita maker and spa like bathroom. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of Pigeon Forge’s Island entertainment district. We loved being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Even with so much going on nearby, the hotel still felt like a peaceful retreat. We also really enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar area, especially in the evenings. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a drink and watch the sunset over the mountains. Margaritaville Island Hotel exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for fun, relaxation, or a bit of both, this place delivers. We’re already planning our next stay!

I found it to be a little overrated. It was a nice room. Big room, comfy beds, nice shower. But, bathroom layout was lacking. Modern sink but very little counter space. I gave a 4 star because the layout of the hotel runs down beside the creek and island. Making for a very long hallway to your room if you down towards the end. Then factor in the parking. If you don't do valet you will be walking from the Island parking area back to the hotel. I put this so people that may have handicap or and issues getting around. That could be an issue. Housekeeping and other staff were all friendly and helpful. I wanted to stay and try it out but I don't think I will return. Especially at the rates they have it at. But it might be a great fit for others.

The hotel is beautiful. We had the two bedroom suite and it was so spacious! I was shocked when we opened the door to what feels like a small apartment with big open floor plan. Not so good: The beds are not comfortable, atleast the two twins. There is not an electrical outlet open in the twin bed room - you have to plug in behind the mattress. Rooftop bar: this is such a beautiful part to the hotel. However however however, Buddy was tending the bar and we sat for like 10 - 15 minutes without a hello. So I asked for a drink and food menu and his response was “Let me take care of these people.” Had he acknowledged us at all, I would have not asked. There was only two other people at the bar also. He wasn’t slammed. Also! He was rude the entire time until it came to paying. He tried to be funny and said “I don’t know if you know this, but it’s tip $100 day.” For one margarita? Come on. For the rude service? Come on. So we also ordered food, my total was $50 and I asked if we tip for the food now or when it gets brought to us by the other person. His response was to tip him and he tips her. Well the food was delivered and the lady was pleasantly waiting for a tip (I was a waitress for years so I can read the cues). Long story short, I tipped this ignorant bartender $10 for a margarita. This guy will make this hotel go from a 5 start to a 2-3 star. As we all know, customer service is important. I would like to mention that John, who came in to replace Buddy, was able to accommodate for the service that was initially given. The atmosphere became great and drinks were made with a smile and respect.
