Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana

Rooms needs maintenance. The air conditioning does not cool properly. The restaurants are sucked. The buffet is very poor in food and trust me , they don’t know what is an espresso. The beach .. ??? Come on !!! That is horrible. And one of the waiters on the Italian restaurant was very rude. Two hours and the food wasn’t ready. I will never come back here and I don’t recommend it.

Our tv didn’t work entire stay even though it was reported to maintenance. The drinks were less than desirable, the rooms were nice but no curtain to cover the shower, staff doesn’t speak English and the comfort food grill service was chaos and very disappointing we were told 20 mins and waited over 45 for a hamburger. This property could be great but you need a major overhaul! I will be back to Punta Cana but not to this resort. Do better!

If I could give zero stars I would. Still here and couldn't wait to leave this horrible review. THIS IS NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT. Kids area consist of a broken Xbox and ps5 with a broken controller. They have rented inflatables near the pool but nothing more than you see at a birthday party. The beach is a joke. Customer service only got worse through out the week. Because they had minimal guest this week, they opened the resort up to the locals at a discounted rate. Once that happened you could t get anyone to help you and all entertainment switched to Spanish only. Open to the culture but it was a night and day difference when this happened. Food was not good, steak house was the one restaurant we enjoyed and the grill by the pool is the only good option for lunch. To top it off, got a hard sell to become a member.. while there I heard two different guest threatening to sue the resort for false promises on the travel club they have. Unlimited vacation club is a joke. Beware and maybe stay away from this Hyatt resorts. Since they took over, their entire network of hotels have gone down hill.
