Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe Houston

Fantastic resort for adults and children! The room was beautiful with a living room and pull out sofa and separate bedroom with king bed, the bathroom was luxurious boasting large walk-in shower and soaking tub, and a balcony overlooking the resort and lake. The only thing missing from the room was a microwave to reheat food or snacks between meals. A spectacular splash pad for younger children with multiple small slides, climbing net, and interactive water buckets. Infant pool was warm enough for infants and entertain enough for my toddler to enjoy. Lazy river made for a relaxing day and evening for me and my toddler. The larger slides were fast and fun! However, be prepared for the water to splash up your nose as you exit the slide at a fast pace. My 3 year old really enjoyed the big slide, and the pool with the waterfall edge and swim up bar. He had a great time ordering apple juice while swimming. The on-site cafe serves up a delicious cheese pizza as well as several good breakfast options like croissant with ham/bacon, egg, and cheese, or bagel with cream cheese or egg. Highly recommend!

Front desk worker, Theresa, was amazing. Despite LONG lines at check in, she was calm and gracious to every guest. Theresa was helpful in advising us where to dine on site and how to use the waterpark. She was fabulous. The property is wonderful. Didn’t like the ice machines only being on odd numbered floors. It’s over 100 degrees and couldn’t find ice. The balconies overlooking the lake were wonderful!

Nibbled on sponge cake. Watched the sun bake... my wife covered in oil. Blew out my flip flop. Stepped on a pop tart. Smelled those breakfast quesadillas and they were amazing. Loved this resort. Rooms were really nice but the place is showing it's age a bit. The shampoo/conditioner/soap bottles were broken off the wall. Didn't have any rags for showering either. The staff is amazing. Every one of them had a big smile on their face all the time and were really nice. I would definitely come stay here again. Oh, they don't tell you this anywhere, but you can't take your own drink container into the pool area (like a water cooler).
