I stayed in Margosa Bay three nights last week with my husband and little boy and a big group of friends. We might have been lucky with our room but it was beautiful and everything was functioning. It's definitely not perfect but having read previous reviews I was actually pleasantly surprised. There were some issues when we arrived and they're a little bit understaffed which led to some frustration. But overall I really enjoyed our stay and the staff really tried to improve our experience while we were there The hot water works! You need to run the tap for a long time to kick start it but we had proper hot showers. The fridge and TV in our room worked. The room is beautiful and the jacuzzi doesn't work but personally I didn't care for it. The fittings have been a bit neglected but it was clean. We had basic breakfast and on the second day they added a station for freshly made eggs and more local breakfast options. We had lunch and dinner several times and everything was fresh and clean. They were only serving beer and soft drinks so they were ok with BYOB. There are some stray dogs coming in the property which is mainly due to the direct access to the beach that is open. We also used the activity shop and did a little boat ride that was lovely. I can't rate 5 stars as a lot of things need improvement, but I had a really good and relaxing time there and I really appreciated the effort they put into improving everything within just a day. I hope they keep up on improving the place because it has a wonderful energy and potential in my opinion. I'd happily stay longer if our schedule had allowed.

You can see that they thought about the construction and architecture of the hotel and certainly had a good concept. We had a positive first impression when we arrived but unfortunately (especially after Covid) you notice that they cut corners: cold water, only half of the lights work, very meager breakfast buffet and everything was already cold, TV removed, only 1 large towel per person, no new water bottles the next day, gym equipment was unplugged etc... when we arrived the staff were totally disorganized and confused about our room assignment. We are very disappointed for the price we paid. We raised some issues with the staff but they didn't accommodate us at all and obviously didn't care. The only good thing was that they welcomed us with a glass of watermelon juice and carried our luggage to our room (which should be a matter of course in a hotel like this). When we got talking to locals they also told us that the hotel had been bought out a few times because business was so bad.

This is crap. the location was very nice it even had a privet beach but their service is crap.no tv no hot water(they had but didn't work) and also their jacuzzi didn't work.their pool was so tinu unlikely the photos and it was very dirty.Their buffet was absolutely worst. They just had chicken pasta and fried fish i mean wtf.Even a 20 dollar hotel has better buffet.for this once used to be a good one that is why this has 3 stars. The gym was closed.for a price like 100 dollars. That is not it.We had our check out time at 2.00 p.m. and they put us on another room wich was crap saying they want to prepare the room for the next client. My overall don't go to this crap.
