Went in for lunch, the food was fresh and delicious. And my waiter I believe his name was Jesper had a friendly smile and amazing service. Will recommend!
We wnt there for a traditional Swedish julbord. At Margretetorp they are true to traditions. Everything you would expect is available and it is very well prepared. Very good food and service.
Lovely setting and great facility for our 30 person conference. Love the warm reception room with cozy fireplace and couches/chairs. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, soundproof/quiet and with good blackout shades. Nice small creek with charming bridges on the property, and nice walks from the hotel available. Food was very good, but I would have liked a “main protein” for vegetarian. They kind of have the “subtract” model (remove meat) but not the “replace” model (to feature a plant based protein not just potatoes, artichokes, veggies). Service was friendly and warm but I would have liked to be offered a drink (wine and water) refill during the 3 course meal, all our glasses were empty for the second half. It was also hard to find employees at the bar. Overall lovely and I would return!
