Mari Vila Hotel

The rooms are tidy and comfortable. There is a supermarket within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast is also good, a traditional European hotel breakfast. The hotel's location is a bit remote, which might be inconvenient if relying on public transportation. The biggest issue is the extremely unstable WiFi, with a very weak signal in our room.

At first glance it looks abandoned, it may have had 4 stars at some point but now it is far far from that, maybe 2 at best, the building needs work, and it is so very dusty. Among the good things is the pool , the water is nice and clean, i like that they have a pool for kids too. This is about the only plus Food is average at best. The service on the other hand was horrible, the staff acts like they own the place (maybe they do own it, who knows) always frowned and bothered by customers, i asked them if they would be so kind as to open one of the umbrellas for me, they said to do it myself…when we had lunch they were bothered because we used credit card insted of cash which is totally absurd, they did not give us wrist bands for the pool and tried to trick us into paying again for pool services (i told them let’s view the surveillance cams and they backed down) We will surely NEVER return to this location! Unless maybe the management takes action and fixes their staff problems.

In my room the fridge was working ONLY with the room card in…if you are inside the room…now is 2024 I believe 🤭 The waste pipe in the shower was almost blocked and you have to swim in the used water 🤭! My card for the room wasn’t working in the evening and by that time was only one man sleeping on the couches at the reception, who wasn’t able to re-activate your card, only he can come upstairs and open for you!!! In total price to service and comfort is NOT worth it for sure !!!!!
