Marigold Hotel

I visited this hotel as part of a group of 10, and overall, the experience was pleasant. The rooms were spacious and clean, which made for a comfortable stay. However, there were some inconsistencies: one room was missing a fridge, and in another, the fridge wasn’t working properly. The breakfast buffet was decent, but there’s room for improvement. Some items, like the viennoiseries, tasted a bit stale, and the pancakes were noticeably overcooked. That said, the staff truly stood out. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Considering the central location and the overall comfort, the price was more than fair. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable stay in the heart of Tunisia, especially if you’re willing to overlook a few minor flaws in exchange for value and warm service.

Booked a room with Booking.com. 4 nights. Very nice room, pretty big. Air conditioning not working in the whole hotel. They should specify before booking that the hotel is not meant for people who have different habits than local ones. No sparkling water, not possible to have any kind of wine, beer or anything alchoolic.

We reserved an accessible room due to special needs, but what we were given was small and completely inadequate. The bathroom was unusable for anyone with mobility challenges — a major issue for a room advertised as accessible. It was clear that accessibility was not genuinely considered. I do not recommend staying at Marigold Hotel if you require accessible accommodations. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.
