Marigold Sukhumvit

I had to book this hotel very fast, between 2 flights. So no time to check reviews. However, upon arrival the welcoming was very friendly and professional. Spacious and spotless clean room with fridge, airco, TV, coffee facilities and bathroom amenities available. Water pressure not the best in the world, however sufficient. Mattress not for guests with weak or sensitive backs ! American breakfast style, limited but good. Pool & fitness available at ground floor level. The vendor machine unfortunately was almost empty. Washing machine and tumbledryer also available at ground floor. Price/quality absolutely perfect. Above and beyond is the friendliness and commitment of the Staff !! So, overall, I have a great stay here...

I stayed at the Marigold Sukhumvit Hotel and was very pleased with my experience. The clean, medium-sized rooms come with a small balcony and a lovely view. The area is quiet, and the breakfast offers a good selection of various Asian and Western dishes. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the room service was excellent. However, the refrigerator and air conditioning are a bit loud. At night, it’s advisable to stay on the busy streets, as there are some stray dogs in the area.

We had booked 2 rooms of 4 adults.Checkin was smooth . They were quick n helpful to change our rooms as the ac started dripping n wet bedding/ mattress. The rooms on left side of the alley turned out to be more airy n sunny. English Breakfast was ok with lesser variety .Rest was monotonous n not too great for long stay guests like myself. Location is awkward .in heat 7/11 seemed more then 1km far .also not too close from central area its at least 15 - 23 stations away from central n takes about 15-18 minutes to gt to the station BTS.no tourist spots near by. so its an added cost n time .for late night getting somewhere n back .no trains after 11 so On Grab /bolt there were extra toll charges to pay . Pool is much smaller then it looks in the pics . Excellent reception n house keeping staff. Over all the hotel is budget friendly to stay in the area but adds up if one adds transportation.
