I admit that when I first read some of the reviews, I was hesitant about my stay. However, I just returned from a one-week all-inclusive vacation at Marina Elite and genuinely enjoyed my time there. I saw no pests, and my towels and sheets were changed regularly. The food was good, with plenty of variety to choose from. The closest beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and I highly recommend going there for a swim, although it can get quite crowded in the afternoon. Most of the staff were very kind, especially the receptionist Sofia, the cleanup crew at the main buffet restaurant, and the team working at the beach floor bar (which I recommend over the one on the top floor). This hotel definitely caters more to families, and the entertainment reflects that. That said, the hotel could benefit from some renovations, both in the common areas and inside the apartments. There was a cleaning crew working every day, but they could improve on promptly cleaning spills and messes in the staircases throughout the day. As for the apartment I stayed in, my only complaints were that the balcony door didn’t lock and there was occasionally a strange smell coming from the bathroom. Lastly, I’m not sure if this is standard practice now, but I found it odd that I had to pay extra to have a working safe—I would have expected that to be included. All things considered, I had a lovely time during my stay!
Bordering on 3 star hotel rather than 4. Rooms and site always clean. Rooms are large and have all you need but very empty and need some added touches. We had scaffolding alongside our huge balcony but didn't affect holiday. Food is repetitive and never changes, all drinks served in plastic beakers which just feels cheap. Alcohol and cocktails and very weak. Last day of holiday they quickly cut all inclusive wrist bands and leave you stranded on the whole last day with no facilities and cases having to be left in reception. Nothing to do in local area and on site shop is expensive and limited. We didn't pay that much and would say good value for price. Do not bring inflatables as not allowed in pools. No evening entertainment worth mentioning. A few tweaks here and there and would be a solid 4 star hotel, but unless some changes made, its more a 3 star.
I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a peaceful and quiet location, ideal for guests looking to relax without evening entertainment or loud activities. During our stay, music was played only for a couple of hours throughout the week, which contributed to the tranquil atmosphere. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the food options were quite limited, and we felt there was room for improvement in variety and quality, especially for an all-inclusive package. One area of concern was the room cleanliness. Unfortunately, our room had an unpleasant odor and did not meet expected hygiene standards. Additionally, upon checkout, our all-inclusive wristbands were removed, and we had to wait for an additional four hours in the reception area. If we wanted access to food during this time, a €50 charge was required, despite already having paid for an all-inclusive experience. Overall, while the hotel offers a calm environment and courteous staff, there are several areas—particularly food variety, room cleanliness, and check-out hospitality—that could benefit from improvement.
