German here In 2024 I first stayed in the hotel for about 8 days. I had a room for myself, room 501. They have two small lifts and of course a staircase. The floors are carpet in front of the rooms and inside the rooms. Food serving times are very long and tourist friendly. Great food. Free soda, water etc always available such as 5 cocktails if all-inclusive is chosen (I went all-inclusive). You have direct access to the beach, also beach loungers with .. umbrellas? Well you know what I mean. An outdoor pool is available too. Little sport area too, nothing too professional though. No inside pool!! Apparently its been closed for 20 years by now. Far from the actual “city” though. You gotta either walk or drive a lot. It’s manageable. Basically, I loved it! Would recommend Added in 2025: It improved a lot within a year! New great air conditioning and pretty good food with lots of variety. Even served mussles, sushi and rabbit meat. Very lovely. Still recommend
I stayed at a hotel in Varna expecting a relaxing vacation, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. I even found a hair in my soup. I tried to get a coffee from the lobby bar around 7 AM and was rudely kicked out, despite having paid for all-inclusive. Even though I put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, the maids barged in while I was sleeping to change towels. The lobby bar terrace was filthy—sand everywhere, overflowing ashtrays, and no one seemed to care. Worst of all, the way the manager treated the staff was shocking—yelling at waiters and bartenders right in front of guests. The whole staff looked like teenagers with no proper training. The restaurant felt more like a stressful workplace drama than a place to eat in peace. I felt no rest, no hospitality, and no respect. Completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one in a city known for tourism !!!!
We were here a year ago and had a great time, so we decided to come back and bring friends this summer. Air Conditioner - We were a total of nine rooms. Only one room had a properly working AC. No AC was fixed by the end of our stay. Dripping sealing - Rooms had multiple issues including leaking ceilings in the bathrooms. The smell coming down was like sewage, a very swamped smell. We informed the front desk immediately, no action was taken during the week of our stay other than buffing down the smell daily. The sealing looks like I have been having this issue for a while. Cleaning - the staff kept the rooms pretty clean although they are run down and need deep refreshing. Food - nothing compared to my previous visit. Very limited menus every day. The variety was half of the previous visit. Last year they had pasta station where they combined the pasta with sauce in front of you, no more of that. No pizzas. Chicken was present in every meal in a different form. Seafood one dinner meal only and mainly processed calamari, fish fingers. Desert station - very limited. I was surprised to see a shortage of watermelon and melons. Even when we asked for more we were informed that there would be no more for that service. Next meal service as we were serving ourselves, two big plates with watermelon were brought to our table from the restaurant manager in order not to run out again. This was a very sad experience, all inclusive with a shortage of watermelon in Bulgaria. The drinks - good selection, however everything was warm with huge shortage of ice. No ice? Come on! Another sad experience. Service - overall good. They are trying and making a magic with what they have. The manager Mr.Stoianov were no were to be found after our first night. It is convenient when I assume he is aware with all the issues that the hotel is struggling with. It was disappointing to see this hotel with beautiful beach to be left out of maintenance. Definitely not coming back until there are improvements.
