Marina Studios

A very clean and nice accommodation in a good accessible location. The ferry to Valletta, various restaurants and convenience stores are located within a walking distance. The room/studio comes with a basic kitchen and washing machine. The room service comes every 3 days. The street can be loud during the night, especially the neighbor across the street who loves to watch movies at maximum volume around midnight :-), but the windows are insulated very good and there is an AC so it is not really an issue. The host (Luke) and other staff members are very nice and helpful. If we ever come back to Malta, we would not hesitate to stay here again. We fully recommend booking here.

A small and clean studio with washing machine with drier. The location is perfect. You are close to ferry which goes to Valetta and takes 10 minutes and comes each 30 min during summer time. The ticket is 3.80 euro for return as well. You have included the Baraka lift ticket in order to get up to Upper Valetta. Even is self check in, you get the key in the door, it is easy and smooth. I had also assistance on what's up when needed. The view from the ferry is gorgeous, it is a nice marina. You have also a nice bar with live music in evenings.

There are some obvious flaws. The lift is tiny, the shower isn't good and the standard of cleanliness is lacking (towels especially). However, I would recommend it. It's a cool building with sensational views of Valletta and the harbour. That's without leaving the room! It's a good location to explore the area and a good base for Malta. The price was also good. Nearby you have some stunning old town architecture and city gates and a fort. It's well worth having a wander through the back streets. Facilities include kettle, toaster, washing machine, fridge, cooker and adapters are provided if you're from a 2 pin plug country. Really appreciated the free water as we got in late. Contactless entry was easy enough and the room is spacious. Overall thumbs up!
