Marino Beach Colombo

Went for weekend high tea buffet last year.. was a delightful experience. The buffet had a variety of food, savory items, sandwiches, deserts, hot and cold beverages.. it was worth the price. Place was spacious and arrangements were nice. Liked the atmosphere. There was a band played and it was really cool and the vibe was good. Good to celebrate a birthday even.. Overall nice experienc🙂

I recently stayed at Marino Beach Hotel and absolutely loved the experience. The food was fresh and flavorful, the view was stunning, and the private rooftop with the pool and gym was a real highlight. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and made everything easy. Overall, it felt premium from start to finish, definitely a stay I’ll remember and recommend.

A large and very busy hotel, reportedly running at around 80% occupancy — and it definitely feels like it. The room was spacious, but unfortunately, we had a water leak from the AC that started during the night, which disrupted our sleep. The open buffet restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, but unfortunately, quantity seemed to take priority over quality — the meat was chewy, and some ingredients tasted quite cheap. The bar menu listed several drinks that were not available, which was disappointing. The rooftop pool has a great concept, but the view is currently blocked by a large construction site, taking away from the relaxing vibe. On a positive note, the staff were genuinely helpful and hospitable throughout our stay, which made a big difference.
