Maritim Hotel Bad Homburg

A wonderful place to stay. Very close to all the shops. Walking distance from the train station. Lovely clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. A car park attached to the hotel. Cheaper rates if you are a guest and a lift takes you straight to the hotel lobby. They have a fantastic breakfast with so much choice. You serve yourself what you want. I haven't seen a better breakfast anywhere else. We keep coming back as it is so good.

I was there for a night, and that was a good night, because beds are very comfortable, shower is great(but don’t take it for a long time, because water is going on the floor then). Breakfast was delicious, a big variety of meals, vegetables, fruits etc. The water in swimming pool was cold, and the sauna was cold too) About 40-50°, it is nothing.

The hotel has clearly seen better days. The room was pleasant and I appreciated the blackout curtains and the option to decline housekeeping, but the bed with non-breathable sheets was uncomfortable and I slept poorly. The window wasn’t airtight, letting in street noise. The shower’s touch controls were impractical, with no way to adjust water flow, and the bathroom fan missing. The garages were extremely cramped and risky for cars, with no protective elements or warnings, yet still charged – unacceptable for such conditions.
